ELMTREE GOLF CLUB INFORMATION:

Elmtree is a social golf club that plays early on Sunday mornings on the "WEST"(Red) course from the WHITE tees at the Preakness Valley Golf Course. (The "EAST" course is only played in cooperation with another club that utilizes the EAST course or when requested to do so by course management. We play from the BLUE tees on EAST course.)

Anyone wishing to play in club action on Sunday should check-in online utilizing our club forum page or with another club member prior to 6:00PM Saturday night. Club members, on Sunday morning, can be located in the snack bar or the porch area of the club house at the farthest table from the snack bar.

Members are usually grouped into three/foursomes on a first come basis, but arrangements are made for members who need to finish quickly to tee off first. Also, friends are not split apart across groups (in most instances) and single riders are matched up to avoid excess cart fees.

Teams are made up upon completion of the round based on a player’s scoring average. A weekly participation fee (in addition to greens fees) allows payouts each week to the best team on the front 9, back 9 and overall. In addition, payouts are made for players "closest-to-the-pin" on the par-3 holes & to the player with the best "over average" round of the day.

The club members also participate in monthly tournaments across the season with special payouts to winners in each flight & trophies to overall winners as well as the regular weekly prize moneys.
